Hello,
I am originally for the Panhandle of Nebraska, where I was born and raised in Sidney, NE. I graduated high school in 2006 and continued on to Chadron State College, where I pursued a degree in Secondary Education, with an endorsement in Social Sciences (7th-12th grade). After my undergraduate graduation, I spent 6 years working in educational roles. I have done various positions, from early childhood development to high school truancy and diversion, along with different roles as a classroom teacher. I held positions both in the eastern and western parts of Nebraska, along with the central area. However, I moved 1,200 miles to Louisiana. Most recently, I am the current computer science/technology teacher at ICCS, a pre-K through 8th grade private school, located in Lake Charles, Louisiana. In addition to my passion for education, I spend most of my free time outdoors. I love to run, and have completed three, half marathons and one complete one last summer. On weekends, I spend my time out on the calm rivers and bayous down here in Lake Charles, usually kayaking. My fiancé' and I also spend our summers hiking the mountains of Colorado, and fishing. |
